It is not required by the school or by PTSA so it was decided not to have one. The office can get Janilee any of that info if she needs. They will post on the door that night that if they leave they can not come back. Emily asked it they need a backdrop for the photo booth. They weren’t planning on doing one this year unless a business will sponsor it. Brittany and Debbie both have someone who could take pictures if needed. The donation gathering is going good. Jill no longer works for Jet Blue so there will be no plane tickets this year. Also no grizzly suite this year because the season will be over. What about doing a minky donation? If they decide to they will ask officer Ashley. We can contact the Draper city police and will have an officer roam the area, It was asked if we can advertise the businesses that are donating on the school marquee? Janilee will check into that but we think only if they donate a certain amount to qualify for that.to happen.
Administration Report:
Battle of the Bands bands can perform at the Howl. It will be Friday May 6 in the afternoon. There is a home baseball game that day so they will set up 6pm so they wont have the confusion and noise from the game to compete with.
They are getting things ready for schedules - should be going out later today. Arena scheduling opens the beginning of May. Counselors and admin are working on everything to be ready for graduation. Senior parents said they did not get the email that went out so Janilee will send that again. There will not be a parade this year. They asked the senior parents present their opinion on graduation. Brittany said she would prefer to do it the covid way. But a survey they sent out showed that most parents prefer a traditional graduation.
Andrea asked about the vaping problem in the bathrooms. Is there any way to detect that? They do have the hall monitors check. They have looked into getting detectors in the bathrooms but each one is $1000 and they can’t detect all of the area. That is why they havent gotten them but will check into it again. Admin knows that it is a problem.
